Gold Buffs Beach – Redwood National Park, California
2004
Along the California coast, drivers can find roads to lead them to the beaches. Hidden within the Redwood National Park is an obscure dirt road leading to one of California’s hidden beauties, Gold Bluffs Beach. Reaching this beach is no easy task. The road is filled with holes and rocks making the trip slow and bumpy. The last bend in the road reveals the mighty Pacific and a pristine beach. Few campers venture here, securing privacy for a sandy camp sight. The evening surf caresses the sands and wipes clean the day’s activities. A lonely rock keeps its spot as the waters swirl around it, and the sea’s mist rises toward the bluffs. Solitude is golden. |
