“ Olsen House Workbench”

Do you remember seeing the painting by Andrew Wyeth called “Christina’s World”? This famous painting has a young girl sitting in a meadow with an old farmhouse in the background. I had an privilege of visiting this old homestead in Maine. Like many older homes in Maine, the workshop was connected to the house. In this workshop, illuminated only by the window light, was this workbench with many fine old hand tools used years ago.
