Double Arch
Arches National Park, near Moab, Utah, is a “high desert” with elevations ranging between 4,000 to 5,600 feet above sea level. This scenic red rock landscape contains the world’s largest concentration of natural sandstone arches. A relatively flat sandy trail brings hikers to the base of Double Arch, dual arches joined at one end of a rocky post. The brilliant colors of the red rock frame the vivid blueness of the skies. Scattered clouds add depth to the image. |
