“Partition Arch”
Arches National Park, Utah
2006
Just few miles outside the town of Moab, we entered the gate of the park and began a long climb up the mesa. Once on top, visitors are blessed with a panoramic view of a landscape that includes 2,000 cataloged arches with the “La Sal” mountains in the background. A short hike on the Devils Garden trail leads past several arches including the famous “Landscape Arch”. A bit further, one can climb up and through “Partition Arch”. Here I sat on the sloping side looking back at the arch. |
